Caroline Lambert

Head of Trade for the Delegation of the European Union

Caroline Lambert is Head of Trade for the Delegation of the European Union to Aotearoa/New Zealand and leads climate and other “Green Deal” aspects of diplomacy. Caroline has over 20 years’ experience in European policy design in the European Commission and has worked in a variety of roles in energy, transport, climate and environment policy as well as in budgetary and financial affairs.

Most recently, she led a cross-departmental team of economic experts in preparing the EU’s new Climate Adaptation Policy and advised on the revision of EU financial markets legislation. Caroline was posted to the Delegation of the European Union to Australia between 2015 and 2018 with a “green diplomacy”’ hat. Before that, she notably advised the first EU Commissioner for Climate Action on international, trade and finance-related issues between 2010 and 2015 and the Vice President in charge of Communication and Interinstitutional Affairs between 2007 and 2010. Caroline is a graduate of Sciences Po-Paris and post-graduate of the College of Europe in Bruges where she was awarded first prize of the year. She also holds Masters in International Economics.

Wyndi Tagi

co-founder of WE, Board member for The Australia New Zealand Leadership Forum

Wyndi Tagi is visionary and co-founder of WE (with her husband Eli), a business coach, Board member for Manukau Institute of Technology Rūnanga, Aotearoa Sports Foundation Trust and The Australia New Zealand Leadership Forum (ANZLF) Indigenous Women’s Business Network, mother to five sons – and grandmother to a baby girl – and wāhine toa on a mission to enhance the mana of Māori and Pacific people.

Proudly Ati-Hau-Nui-A-Paparangi on one side and European on the other, everything Wyndi does is to further that mission. Be it using her background in finance and banking to coach small businesses, rolling out financial literacy programmes to those who need it the most, contributing her thoughts in multiple governance roles, setting up outsourcing work in Samoa, or trying to help WE’s clients understand that they can have financial success while staying true to family-centric cultural values.

As a cancer survivor who knows what it’s like to be a single mum, to be part of a blended family and to start a business with a newborn baby, Wyndi believes that understanding people’s ‘why’ and whole life situation is the first step in helping them to run a better – and more profitable – business. Strategic visionary and planner, growth advisor, business coach, mentor and facilitator, Wyndi’s happiest place is helping people run purpose driven businesses that positively impact communities.

She truly believes every business owner can be who they want, do what they love, be present for their family and still thrive financially.

Sam Stubbs

Founder of Simplicity

Founder of Simplicity, Sam was most recently CEO of Tower Investments, a KiwiSaver default provider. Before that, he was Managing Director of Hanover Group and spent 10 years working for Goldman Sachs in London and Hong Kong.

He previously worked for NatWest Markets, Fay, Richwhite and IBM NZ. He has been a Board Member of the Financial Services Council and a member of the Government Taskforce on Financial Services.

Caroline Lambert

Director of ECG and Good Shepherd NZ

Director of ECG, a boutique consultancy providing advice on strategy, leadership and the Pacific economy for both public and private sector clients.

She has experience in executive management and a pandemic crisis as Interim CEO for Pacific Media Network during the Covid-19 lockdowns. Her insights connect community, corporate and government organisations and currently serves as a trustee/director on Foundation North and Good Shepherd NZ.

In 2020, she was recognised as a 40 Under 40 Business Leader from the University of Auckland Alumnus, and a finalist in the “NZ Women of Influence” awards for her contribution to Arts and Culture. An admitted Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of NZ, her strengths include leadership analysis, stakeholder engagement and cultural intelligence.

Her passion project is growing the media arm of ECG which has been funded a second season of “SOUL SESSIONS”- a show celebrating gospel music in Aotearoa #NZonAir.
