Travel News May/June 2018
Planning a mid-year getaway or just dreaming of an island in the sun, here’s the latest travel news from around the globe.
Capture The Moment

Printing out your holiday snaps while on the go has never been easier thanks to the HP Sprocket Printer. It allows you to print photo paper pictures directly from your phone’s camera roll, Instagram or Facebook when you download the HP Sprocket app. The app also allows you to edit and add filters or text to images so you can get creative and even print snaps you want to give to others without needing to be back home. The small size of the Sprocket means it can fit easily into your travel bag or even a back pocket. This little device is a great pocket companion.
Sleeping In The Clouds
Airbus has announced that by 2020 passengers on their airlines will be able to enjoy a good night’s sleep in the cargo holder. The spaces will have pre-constructed beds away from the seating areas and even include meeting rooms, lounges and areas for children to play. The spaces can be slotted into the cargo holds in the same way normal cargo is. So keep an eye out, flights might be about to get a lot more comfortable in the next few years.
Banish The Blues
Staying healthy while you travel is a must you don’t want to end up spending the majority of your holiday sneezing and sniffling everywhere. Artemis have created a handy ViroGone oral spray that’s the perfect size for popping in your bag before heading out on your travels. The traditional plant formula helps to boost your immune system. You can take this every day as a preventative measure or just give it a quick spray when you start to feel unwell.

TripAdvisor holds an annual Traveller’s Choice Awards for airlines based on user reviews and ratings and it turns out if you want the cream of the crop when it comes to flights you should book a flight via Singapore Airlines, with Air New Zealand coming in second and Emirates rounding off the top three.
