Non Solo Pizza’s Italian Cocktail Party Recipes
We’re very fond of a cheeky cocktail at the end (read: middle) of the working week and Non Solo Pizza and Sanpellegrino have let us in on a little secret… Ready to prepare at home, whether it be to wind down on a Friday or a Saturday night cocktail party with the gals, these recipes will take you straight to the vibrant Italia!
Aranciata Viola
Ingredients
45ml Gin Malfy limone
15ml Aperol
15ml blueberry puree
10ml lemon juice
Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa
Method
Shake the blueberry puree, Aperol, Gin and the lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, and then strain into a tall glass with cracked ice. Fill with Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa and mix. Top up with crushed ice and garnish with a blackberry a skewer.
Non Solo Negroni
Ingredients
30ml Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
15ml Averna
30ml Campari
Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa
Method
Pour all of the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice cubes. Mix for 10 seconds. Pour into a small bottle. Present the cocktail in the bottle over ice to maintain cold and with a short glass with ice and an orange twist
Dark Julep
Ingredients
45ml Jagermeister
15ml lemon juice
15ml simple syrup mint
Sanpellegrino Pompelmo
Method
Put the mint leaves on one hand and clap. This bruises the leaves and releases the aroma. Rub the mint leaves around the rim of the julep mug and drop them in. Add fresh lemon juice and the simple syrup. Do not strain the mixture. Fill the mug almost to the top with ice. Pour the Jagermeister over the ice, and fill the mug with Sanpellegrino Pompelmo. Mix, taste, and add more sugar if desired. Top up with crushed ice and garnish it, brown sugar and a sprig of mint.
